Bethany on vacation in Panama City last year.

I started at UC Blue Ash on May 4th (May the fourth be with you!). My responsibilities include course orders and modifications, managing projects, and supporting students, faculty, and staff. I am also a proud UC Blue Ash graduate after completing my bachelor’s degree in the BTAS program last year. You can find me Muntz112EC in the office suite with other members of our Academic Support team: Katie, Jenny, Erick, and Suzanne.

What is your favorite thing about working or teaching at UC Blue Ash?

My favorite thing about working at Blue Ash is definitely the people. Starting a new job can come with some anxiety about fitting and finding your place within an established team, but everyone has been so welcoming and has made me feel right at home.

Is there a current/recent book or podcast you’re enjoying?

I am currently reading Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. I am reading slowly because there are some scenes that I cannot read when it is dark outside. I recently finished It, The Stand, The Shining, and Misery. I plan to read Pet Sematary next.

What kind of hobbies or activities do you pursue outside of work?

Outside of work I love to read, go on cruises with my mom, and try new restaurants with my friends. Last year I read over 100 books, and I plan to read 150 books this year. I love discovering new books, restaurants, and places to visit!

What is one fun or interesting fact you would like to share about yourself?

A couple of interesting facts about myself – I was a dog groomer for 3 years after high school, I have visited 10 countries, and I have never been to a UC football game. If you are reading this then this is your cue to invite me to a game.
