UC Blue Ash College

Pre-Engineering Program

Pre-Engineering is a pre-professional track that consists of courses in chemistry, physics and mathematics which are required for the continuing education path of an engineering degree.

Where It Will Take You

The Pre-Engineering program provides the appropriately prepared student with the first year toward completion of a bachelor’s degree in engineering.* Students transitioning to the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Cincinnati will have four to five more years of study. Engineering programs in CEAS require five years of study; it may take longer depending on your pathway and preparation.

*The student will need to meet regularly with an advisor to ensure the General Education requirements align with the chosen engineering discipline.

Non-Degree Program

Pre-Engineering is not a degree program. Instead, it is a collection of courses required for preparation and future entry into an Engineering bachelor's degree program. Learn more about non-degree programs.
