Anatomage Table
The new Anatomage Table in Walters Hall, with instant access to real-life 3D images of humans and animals, helps serve students, faculty and staff in our Biology and Healthcare programs.
The seven-foot-long Anatomage Table features life-size human - as well as several animal - bodies in digital formats, providing accurate representations of three-dimensional anatomy, physiology, and digital pathology.
- Allows for virtual dissection as users can peel back skin and muscle layers, as well as rotate models in 3D using the interactive touch screen;
- Gives students the ability to visualize beating hearts, trace blood flow, and simulate specific health conditions, such as a heart attack;
- Works as an extremely valuable teaching and learning tool for our college, especially for students in our biology and health care programs.
