Liberal Arts - History Program

The Liberal Arts - History program is designed for students who want to prepare to transition to the history bachelor's degree in the College of Arts and Sciences. After taking advantage on the benefits of the UC Blue Ash campus and programs, students can easily transition and continue their journey. The Liberal Arts - History program at UC Blue Ash develops core skills in critical thinking and analysis that are vital to a successful undergraduate education and beyond.

A liberal arts education prepares students for a variety of careers in public service, business, education, and is especially helpful for those considering further degree attainment.

Where It Will Take You

Career opportunities for those who hold a History degree are varied, including museums, historical preservation, archives, editing and publishing, positions in federal, state, and local historical agencies, and, of course, public school teaching. Further, the skills of the historian – research, writing, critical thinking – are transferable to many occupations and professions.

Transition-Oriented Program
