Elizabeth Luong was inspired to attend UC Blue Ash by her parents who are both alumni of the college. They fell in love with everything the campus had to offer and then fell in love with each other!

Elizabeth took an interest in radiology in high school when she realized the importance of medical imaging in patient care and being an advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. She found that the accelerated Radiologic Imaging Technology bachelor’s degree program at UC Blue Ash was the perfect fit.

From the moment Elizabeth stepped onto campus for College Day, she knew she wanted to be part of the close-knit community she saw in UCBA’s student leaders. New opportunities led her to become a Student Orientation Leader (SOL), where she welcomed new students.

Elizabeth’s involvement has opened multiple doors for leadership experiences on campus, and she uses her role as a student leader to inspire others.

My advice would be to come into college with an open mind. Whether it’s taking a class that seems intimidating or applying for a leadership position, lean into things that might push you out of your comfort zone.

Although she started college as a quiet student, Elizabeth’s confidence and public speaking skills have grown far more than she imagined, and the friendships she made have become a highlight of her college experience.

Her goals going forward include maintaining her 4.0 GPA and continuing to be involved on campus. The next step is becoming a Student Orientation Coordinator, where Elizabeth will support recruitment, training, and team development for future SOLs.
