Celebrating Homecoming the Bearcat Way

UC homecoming week is here and UC Blue Ash students got to partake in fun festivities on the quad in front of Muntz Hall earlier today (Thursday, October 4).

Pizza, performances and more!

Students and faculty gathered around to watch performances from the UC Band and Club Dance Team while enjoying a free slice of pepperoni, sausage or cheese pizza from Marco’s Pizza and free popcorn. The Alumni Association handed out free T-shirts at the start of the event.

The UCBA Student Ambassadors had a table set up promoting the 5k Blue Ash Dash and helped serve pizza to students. There was also a table set up encouraging students to start their own art club. The “Thousand Hand Project” was an interesting addition to the celebration – students could paint their palm and leave their handprint on two large canvases painted red and black. The goal was to get as many handprints as possible on the canvases (hence the name). They will be displayed in different places around campus.

The homecoming game will be played on Saturday, October 6 at 12:00 p.m. at Nippert Stadium, located on the University of Cincinnati Uptown campus. Come out and show support as the Bearcats take on Tulane University in an important American Athletic Conference game!
