Anyone who is interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati can learn more about a new program at UC Blue Ash College.

The college will offer free information sessions this spring for the Bachelor’s in Technical and Applied Studies, also referred to as Applied Administration. It is a 2+2 program designed for anyone with an associate degree in an applied or technical field (AAB, AAS, or ATS) who wants to advance their education. With courses in topics that include communication, human resources, strategic planning and team building, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to advance into a leadership role.

“We have worked with area business leaders to develop a curriculum that provides the soft skills they desire in their employees. These compliment the technical skills many of our students have already acquired,” said Michele Kegley, program director and associate professor of business at UC Blue Ash.

The free information sessions will be offered on the following dates and times on the UC Blue Ash College campus.

Monday, March 5 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Muntz Hall, Room 117
Tuesday, March 27 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Walters Hall, Room 100
Thursday, April 5 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Muntz Hall, Room 117

The sessions will feature an overview from professors, insight about the courses

involved, and details about tuition and the enrollment process. As an added bonus, prospective students who attend one of the information sessions can get their $50 application fee waived if they enroll in the program during a designated period following the session.

The information sessions for the Applied Administration program are free, but seating is limited. To register, go to You can also learn more about the program at
