“I know that study abroad can seem a little intimidating to some students; it can be hard to imagine yourself away from home, family, and friends for a few weeks. What students sometimes don’t realize is that study abroad is a place where people form new friendships over amazing shared experiences. The people you meet on your program to Costa Rica, or Quebec, or England and Spain are the only people in the world who will have shared your study abroad experience with you. They are the people you’ll get lost with in Harlaxton Manor with on your first night in England. They’re the ones who will walk across that sky-high bridge with you in the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. They are the ones who will explore the spectacular Chateau Frontenac with you in Quebec City. You don’t forget those people, and you often form intense bonds with them that last long after study abroad programs conclude. Don’t be intimidated by study abroad! Just ask yourself why you haven’t done it yet.” – Professor Sue Sipple, PhD

This year is not only the 50th anniversary of our campus, but the 20th anniversary of the UC Blue Ash Study Abroad program! Learn more about the history of this program!
