The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College will host a spring open house for prospective students and their families on Saturday, April 1 from 1:00–3:30 p.m.
The weekend open house is part of a new effort to expand the number of opportunities the college offers for prospective students, due to increasing demand. In the past, the college hosted just one open house per semester, but attendance was pushing the limits of full capacity, with an average of 240 prospective students and more than 700 people total per event over the past few years.
The UC Blue Ash open house offers attendees the chance to learn more about the nearly 50 associate and bachelor’s degree programs the college offers, while meeting with professors, admissions representatives, academic advisors, current students, and the dean of the college. There are also breakout sessions for students who are interested in specific health care programs, such as dental hygiene, nursing, or veterinary technology.
As an added bonus, all prospective students who apply to UC Blue Ash during the open house will have the $50 application fee waived.
Anyone who plans to attend the spring open house at UC Blue Ash College should register in advance at www.ucblueash.edu/openhouse or by calling (513) 745-5700.
