UCBA Holiday Food Drive – Through Dec 9

One good deed deserves another.

UCBA students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community – Donate food for the Freestore Foodbank to help needy families during the holidays. Let’s work together to end hunger in our community. Donations will be accepted November 14 – December 9, 2016.

Not sure what to donate?

Here’s a list of accepted food donations:

  • Canned meat products
    (tuna, chicken, ham, spaghetti with meatballs, chili with meat & beans, beef stew, etc.)
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned vegetables and fruits
  • Other non-perishables such as canned soups and macaroni and cheese**
    Baby formula

**The Freestore Foodbank is unable to accept prepared food, due to federal guidelines that requires all donated items to include an explicit label of ingredients.

Where to drop off:

Bring non-perishable food items to any of our donation locations until December 9, 2016:

  • Muntz Hall Community Commons & Lobby
  • Walters Hall Main Lobby
  • UC Blue Ash College Library

If you forget to bring non-perishable food items, monetary donations will also be accepted. Items can also be dropped off in the library (anyone who has library fines will get credit toward their fine for each non-perishable food item donated – up to $5).

All donated items will go to the Freestore Foodbank to help needy families during the holidays.
All monetary donations will strictly be used to purchase additional non-perishable food items for the Freestore Foodbank.

Don’t miss the Upcoming Food Donation Day

On December 1, 2016, there will be a special opportunity to make your donation and receive swag when you make your donation at the table in the Muntz Hall Commons.

Everyone who makes a donation will receive their choice of UC Blue Ash swag.
If you forget to bring non-perishable food items, monetary donations will also be accepted. Items can also be dropped off in the library (anyone who has library fines will get credit toward their fine for each non-perishable food item donated – up to $5).
