Homecoming Parade Participant – NEW ADDITION

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Represent UC Blue Ash College in the pre-game UC Homecoming Parade in Clifton on Saturday, October 24th by volunteering as a UCBA parade crew member! More details below.

Student Leadership Conference – NEW ADDITION

The FREE conference for UC students will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 8:30am-4pm at Tangeman University Center (TUC) on UC’s Clifton Campus. Registration information below.

Student Nurse Association Meetings – NEW ADDITION

The UCBA Student Nurse Association holds meetings on the first Thursday of every month at noon in Walters Hall, Room 261.

UCBA Entrepreneur Speaker Series – NEW ADDITION

The next edition of our UC Blue Ash Entrepreneur Speaker Series will feature Craig Kurz, owner and board member of HoneyBaked Ham. The event will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in Muntz Auditorium; it is free and open to everyone.

Police, Race & Trust Speaker Series – NEW ADDITION

UCBA is pleased to present a speaker series that provides multiple perspectives on the issue of police violence and race. Police, Race and Trust: Examining and Overcoming Police Violence, is presented by our Behavioral Science Department through support from a UC Presidential Seed Grant. It features our faculty, along with other local and national experts who will provide presentations on a wide range of topics related to this important national discussion. Please see details below for the dates, times and topics for the speaker series. All of the presentations are free and open to the public.

All dates and times fall within the timeframe of the Common Hour, from 12:30 p.m.—1:50 p.m., in which students are not scheduled for classes.

Homecoming Parade Volunteers

Saturday, October 24th

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Represent UC Blue Ash College in the pre-game UC Homecoming Parade in Clifton by volunteering as a UCBA parade crew member! We’re currently recruiting for UCBA students to walk in the parade along with UC Blue Ash Bearcat alums.

The parade takes place four hours prior to game time, which is TBA. Immediately following the parade, we’ll celebrate at the Bearcat Blitz Tailgate held at the Myers Alumni Center in Clifton!

This year we have an exciting program for you. Wes Moore, the author of The Other Wes Moore, our common reading this year will close out the conference. Following the conference we will have a book signing with Wes Moore. During the day, we will have 15 breakout sessions and two other well-renowned speakers. Poet, performer, educator, and activist, Malcolm London will open the conference and Tamaya Dennard, TEDxUCincinnati speaker and Political Director for PG Sittenfeld’s U.S. Senate Campaign will join us for lunch.

If you are not able to join us for the entire day, but are still interested in attending Wes Moore’s closing keynote from 2pm-3:30pm – you can register on EventBrite here. We are opening up Great Hall to participants only able to attend the closing keynote in addition to conference attendees.
